There are some magnificent wedding venue locations around central Queensland, but I can’t think of any better than the Old Station at Raglan.

And what tops off an an amazing wedding venue is being priviledged to shoot such a fun couple as Rachel & Reece. It’s always a pleasure to enjoy your work, and both Wezley and I thoroughly enjoyed our day with this amazing couple.

This was my first time at the Old Station. Driving in I was already getting excited about potential photo locations. Central Queensland in winter is a glorious place to be. And this location, being a good distance from Gladstone had me thinking about a photo I have been wanting to do for ages. A portrait of the bride and groom under the milky way (at the end of the gallery).

After getting to know everyone, I just knew we were in for a great wedding. Plenty of laughs. Super casual. My type of wedding.

After the ceremony we were collected together and the bridal party got up onto the old Bedford truck to be driven around to the popular photo locations. This was almost the highlight of the day. And having people who are all for doing some “creative” photos certainly helps too.
